Jocelyne Fleming, representing the Chartered Institute of Building in Scotland, will reveal insights from a recent report on retrofitting social housing. Antoine Pellet, from HACT, will introduce RetrofitCredits, an innovative initiative boosting funding for the housing sector. Biog, Lucy Allis is the current Local Authorities Climate Action Coordinator at the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority. She works collaboratively with Local Authorities, National Parks and wider partners in a range of areas of net zero including delivery of York and North Yorkshire’s Routemap to Carbon Negative, building retrofit and community climate action. Her background includes a Masters degree in Sustainability Studies and a role as a Sustainability Projects Coordinator for an environmental C.I.C.
Jocelyne Fleming, Policy & Public Affairs Officer – Scotland, Chartered Institute of Building.
Biog, Jocelyne Fleming is the Policy & Public Affairs Officer for Scotland at the Chartered Institute of Building. Here, she leads the organisation’s work advocating in the public interest on all issues relating to the built environment and construction with policymakers and key stakeholders across Scotland. Her recent work has focussed on cladding remediation, building safety and maintenance, retrofit, and addressing the skills shortages in the construction sector.
Jocelyne is also undertaking a PhD in Urban Studies at the University of Glasgow, where she previously obtained her MSc in Public & Urban Policy.
Antoine Pellet, Head of Retrofit Credits, Housing Associations’ Charitable Trust (HACT).
Biog, Antoine has been leading the introduction and growth of the award-winning Retrofit Credits programme since its inception in 2022. He plays a key role in the continued development of Retrofit Credits and move the programme forward to increase its meaningful impact in the sector to decarbonise homes and support the people who live in them, especially at a time when the environment and carbon emission reduction are one of the key factors, both in improving homes for residents and our journey towards its net-zero goals.
