WEBINAR, Wed 10 July | Building with Nature – high quality green infrastructure for people and nature
EXCLUSIVE WEBINAR HOSTED BY BUILDING WITH NATURE, PARTNER OF NET ZERO WEEK.
Wednesday 10th July 2024, 12:00 – 13:00 BST.
Synopsis:
New placemaking provides the potential to put nature at the heart of development in a way that’s good for people and wildlife. In doing so, it offers solutions to the climate, ecological and health challenges and highlights the role the built environment can play in tackling them. Join Tim Bevan as he introduces the Building with Nature Standards Framework, the UK’s first green infrastructure benchmark for the built-environment. Explore why prioritising high-quality GI is integral to successful placemaking and discover how the Standards champion best practice.
Speaker:
Tim Bevan, Head of Standards Operations, Building with Nature (Sintali).
Tim started his career in 2000 at BRE’s Centre for Sustainable Construction, working on the development and operation of BREEAM, the Code for Sustainable Homes and CEEQUAL standards. During this time Tim was influential in steering the application of, and certification to, these standards on thousands of developments across the World. In 2021 Tim joined Building with Nature, bringing his expertise to the world of green infrastructure, and in 2024 Building with Nature joined Sintali Ltd, a UK-based leader in the development of sustainability standards, where Tim now works as Head of Standards Operations. In his spare time Tim enjoys spending time with family, trail running, playing football and watching his local team, Forest Green Rovers FC.
